"This work resembles the core or base of my material process. Starting with a hardwood panel and initial layers of plaster to develop texture, I embrace imperfections, moving back and forth between sanding away and adding new layers of acrylic paint, and oxidation on paper. The final result is a smooth surface that represents warmth, texture, and time."
