Yevhenii Shapovalov is a Ukrainian painter and graphic designer. Shapovalov’s techniques range broadly from photo realism to abstract slashing pastel marks. He works in various genres from landscape and still life to abstraction and nude, seamlessly combining his wide array of techniques in a fascinating melange somewhat reminiscent of David Salle. 

I am a Ukrainian artist known for my diverse range of artistic techniques. My work encompasses both photorealism and abstract slashing pastel marks. Currently, I create in a naively expressionistic style, aiming to showcase primitivism in the modern world. This style allows me to enhance my experiments with composition and color. I explore various genres, including nude, still life, abstraction, and portraiture, often skillfully combining different techniques to create captivating and thought-provoking compositions.
