Sasha Gladkiy is a contemporary artist from Kharkiv, Ukraine.
The philosophy of his art revolves around the exploration of the human race and its place within our reality. Gladkiy’s artworks often depict elements of flora and fauna, as well as fictional life forms not found in nature. 

I call my work and style "Atonal Painting." Let me explain: it is when a canvas (painting) becomes a door for the viewer, opening up the artist's universe and imagery. For me, as an artist, it becomes essential to release inner energy, which can be described as expressionism. Thus, I included the word "expressionism" in the name of my work. The term "atonal" encompasses the concept of color and tonal harmony, principles of its construction and organization on the canvas, expressed by the artist's rejection of the logic of color and tone harmony. The result is a demonstrative "Atonal Expressionism!"
