Oleh Kalashnik

Oleg Kalashnik is a Ukrainian artist. He works with decorative painting, sculpture (miniature and landscape gardening), and easel graphics.
The artist’s works are kept in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Germany, France, Russia, Portugal, and the USA.

Art, for me, is one form of life. A multi-layered action. I eat, sleep, make sculptures, smoke, paint, have sex... Each of these processes carries its own drama. Each is both everyday life and a celebration. Everything is connected. I hope I manage to convey this through my work.
