Collection: Kristina Otchich

Kristina Otchich-Cherniak is a Ukrainian artist based in Kyiv.
Her artistic research is centered around existential and philosophical themes, as well as psychology, mental disorders, and exploration of her own personality.

The foundation of my work is indignation. Nothing inspires me; rather, everything unsettles me. This is the basis for most of my themes. Inequality, war, psychological states, existential questions, and issues are the main characters in my works. I use humans and animals as instruments to convey these ideas. I draw people without heads, as it's important to me not to distract the viewer with the portrait area, but to focus them on the narrative.
